Had my first exam today, Computer Science, it pretty much sucked, haha. It's my fault really, I did almost no revision and I was seated behind this really hot guy so, of course, I kept getting distracted. I just can't wait for them to be over, just eight days left, then four months of total freedom, yay!

I'm really pissed off about Marvel cancelling the new Young Avengers. I need Billy and Teddy! haha...No, I've kind of moved on now, I watched the first two episodes of Kyle XY this afternoon. Sure the acting isn't outstanding but Kyle's smile...guh...I'm fickle and superficial, I know.

Wow, not posted here in a while! Things have been really hectic here at uni recently, what with exams coming up and everything. I'm really stressed at the moment, I hardly done any revision and my first exam is in less than a week! I quite sure I'm going to fail and get kicked out, haha. At least it will all be over and two and a half weeks and then three and a half months of nothing, yay!

I remember thinking of things that I wanted post when I finally had time to update but now I can't for the life of me remember what they were, ah well.

I've been really looking forward to the World War Hulk: Young Avengers one-shot that was meant to be coming out in August but when Marvel released their solits, it wasn't on there and all information about it has been removed from Marvel.com and no-one is saying why. Grr.

Also, as you can see, I changed my layout, it's kind of lame, I want my old one back but I can't remember where I got it from, lol.

Wow, three journal posts in three days, it's a record! I didn't update at all throughout my whole month and half Easter break but now I'm back at uni and I have a buttload of work to do (which I was meant to do during the holidays) I'm posting all the time! And using exclamation marks all the time too!!! I blame the Young Avengers fans, lots of other fandoms I've been 'in' have felt kind of clique-y but here everyone's so friendly that I can help but participate. (Yes, flattery will get you anywhere)

It occurred to me this morning that some of the fanfic I read could probably be classified as gay porn, lol. I don't normally read NC-17 fics because...well, I don't really know why. I prefer to use my imagination more I guess. It's all A put it there and B touched him there and sometimes C, D and E inserted whatever (lol, sorry, tangent). Anyway, sometimes I forget to look at the rating and read it anyway. This is fine when I'm at home where there aren't rules for using the internet but now that I'm back at uni, it could get a bit messy...

Parents: What were you downloading this time? TV shows again?

hahaha. No, after the initial shock I think they'd be Ok, though. They hardly batted an eyelid when my cousin came out, though I guess it would be different for your own children...

Well I should get back to writing my lab report. I've had two months to do it, it needs to be 3000 words and given in tomorrow. I started this morning and have only done 250 words.

p.p.s Oops, I got confused about which box I was typing in and have just noticed that I have the phrase 'gay porn' in the middle of the theory on parallel resonant circuits. Good thing I noticed.

EDIT: As of 4pm GMT (hehehe) I have written...1000 words! Booyah! (God, can't believe I just said that) A third of the way through!

Omigod, I just found the coolest thing on eBay: Young Avengers action figures! Awesome, my geekery knows no bounds! I'll probably only bid on them if it stays at like £1 or something,though. I've never owned any action figures before and I guess now, since I'm way past the age where I should have grown out of that stuff, is the perfect time to start, lol. Would it be too pervy to put the Billy and Teddy figures into different *ahem* positions...hello? You still there? Yeah, I guess that is kind of creepy. Haha, I'm so lame.

I got my sister to read YA the other day, she liked it (yay, a convert!), don't how she feels about Billy/Teddy though, I don't think she's really into slash. I didn't want to ask her too many questions about it, she doesn't know I'm gay. Though one look at the comics I've been reading recently (YA, Ultimate X-Men, Authority) and she probably has quite a good idea. I think I kind of want her to work it out, then I don't have to actually tell her (hurray for cowardice!).

I'm supposed to be revising now for an exam I have this afternoon but of course updating my journal is much more interesting. That reminds me, I should probably update my interests and profile, it's really out of date now...

p.s. Is is still slash if it's canon? I'm never really sure, some say it is, some say it isn't...meh.

Wow! So it's been almost a month since I posted here last. Work at uni has been really busy recently...wait, work has been busy? That doesn't make sense, I mean I have been busy with work.

OK, so what's new with me? I've discovered and become addicted to Etsy and have decided to set up my own shop there over the Easter holidays selling whatever I decide to make. So now I have a goal for my holidays instead of just doing jack' like I would have done otherwise.

In unrelated but awesome news, I finally got round to watching Dexter which I've had on my computer since Christmas. If I had known what I was missing there's no way I would waited so long to watch it, I mean I'd heard it was good but wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was. It's so fascinating and Michael Hall is astounding as Dexter, also it has Julie Benze (yay). Would it be creepy if I said that I see a bit of myself in Dexter? Not in an I want to go around killing people kind of way, mind you, more in an I cut myself of from people and don't know how to relate to them kind of way, but you don't want to hear about my problems. I really recommend to everyone even if this isn't the sort of thing you normally watch and even if, like me, you'd been spoiled about who the killer was, I urge you to give it a try. Also, is it wrong to find a serial killer so hot? Not when he looks like that, I guess.

OK, that's me finished, I'm off to make some Dexter icons...

Yay! I was so excited this morning when I opened my curtains to discover that it had snowed in the night and everything was white! That excitement only lasted about half an hour until it occurred to me that I'd have to actually go outside in it. It took me twice as long as it normally does to walk to my lecture this morning, since I kept almost falling over (damn shoes!). I've decided that snow isn't anywhere near as exciting when you can't go sledging or anything. Ah well, it's still pretty I guess.

Talking of pretty, I've recently rediscovered Supernatural. After feeling a bit let down by the first episode after the hiatus, I felt kind of... meh... about it but after watching Night Shifter and reading this fic by Gillian, I'm totally back into it and can't wait 'til tomorrow when I can watch the next episode!

After hearing so many good things about it, I finally gave Arrested Development a look and boy am I glad that I did. It's so funny, and so clever too! Unfortunately, peekvid is closed at the moment so I can't watch anymore, I think I'm probably going to buy the DVDs anyway.

In other news, I finally got round to making a header, I'm quite proud of it even though it's kind of boring and not very...erm, I can't think of the word... damnit, this snow is clouding my brain.

Just finished watching last night's ep of The Office. It was really funny but there was something weird about the way it was put together that I can't quite put my finger on.

OMG OMG OMG!!! Harry Potter Book 7 will be released on the 21st July! That's just under six months! erm, I think, I'm too excited to work it out properly! Yay! So excited! Can you guess I love Harry Potter!

Only six more months then no more Harry Potter books! I'm sad now..lol. Sorry for not being coherent but yay!
